Information
Details
The installation of the next Master Spectacle Maker and Wardens will take place at St. Bride's on the first Wednesday after Michaelmas (St Michael's Feast Day), as is laid out in the Royal Charter signed by Charles I.
The Annual Service is an opportunity to thank Spectacle Makers' for their support for the Company, and for their charity, and to remember the Freemen and Liverymen who are no longer with us. It is an occasion that celebrates community and is open to all members, the families and loved ones of the departed and anyone of any faith. The Spectacle Makers' Company shares a close relationship with St Bride's, who continue to put together a thoughtful service, illuminating the history and values of WCSM, and as always accompanied by their renowned choir.
Please arrive to be seated in the church by 11.15am for a prompt start at 11.20am. The service normally lasts 50 minutes. There is no ticketed entry or cost to attend but it is helpful for the office to know how many people are expected. Please select the number of tickets for you and your guests below. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible for this special occasion.
Liverymen should note that the Court Luncheon following the service is now SOLD OUT. You can add yourself to the waiting list Here.
