CITY EVENTS:

Common Hall: Thursday 24th June
Wednesday 29th September
United Guilds Service: Friday 19th March
The United Guilds’ Service was inaugurated in 1943 as a means of lifting spirits in the City following the Blitz. It is a most colourful spectacle, and your only chance to see all 108 liveries of the City of London Guilds actually on display.
Lord Mayor’s Day: Saturday 13th November
View the procession from either the Grandstand at St Paul’s or the more comfortable surroundings of HQS Welling.
Festival of St Cecilia: Late November
As part of its annual commemoration of its Patron Saint, the Musicians’ Company invites members of other livery companies to join it in a special service of music held in aid of the Musicians’ Benevolent Fund. The Service is led by the combined choirs of St Paul’s, Westminster Abbey and Westminster Cathedral, and is followed by lunch.
