Examination Timetable and Application Forms
The WCSM written examinations are conducted twice a year in June and December on dates that will be promulgated at least 6 months in advance. All of the WCSM Level 2 examinations can be taken online at the candidate's place of work on the same day as the written examinations, provided that certain conditions are met.
The written examinations can be taken at a choice of venues which are listed on the Application Form. The 2nd year Practical Examinations for the Level 4 Diploma for Optical Technicians are conducted annually in June at a venue in London.
The next date for written and online examinations is Thursday 8 December 2011.
The next full sitting for 2nd Year Level 4 Optical Technicians Practical Examinations is Thursday 7 June 2012 at City & Islington College, Goswell Road Campus. There will, however, be a resit opportunity for unsuccessful candidates from the June 2011 practical examinations on Monday 5 September 2011 at Apothecaries' Hall.
